Amherst Window Replacement - Old & Defective Window Repair

These pictures are of a job LGSC Construction did in Amherst.  Our client contacted us because they knew they had old, leaky and drafty windows, so we went out for a free estimate. Had their windows been salvageable we could have repaired the window sash or window molding. However, the status of their windows was clearly beyond repair so we discussed the options of replacement windows.

This Amherst bi-level, built in the 1970s, had original windows - never repaired or replaced. The window frames were rotted, as well as surrounding drywall, as a result of leaks and water damage and window frames had been infiltrated with ant colonies for the past many years - making the damage even worse. LGSC removed the rotted, mold-infested, wood and drywall, rebuilt the new window frames and installed new drywall as a part of the replacement window project.

At LGSC Construction we continuously strive for the best customer service and what the customer wants is our ultimate objective. In this case the customers had a connection that could get them the type of windows they wanted and so our crew got on site to start the job when the windows arrived.  So whether a customer wants to buy their own materials or have our team procure the materials, of course we have recommendations, but we'll install materials that are on-site.

In this case the customer didn't notice that the windows on site included a cracked window pane upon delivery, so they had to go through the hassle of dealing with the window retailer to get a replacement. When LGSC Construction is managing all aspects of material supply and installation we guarantee the quality of all materials and will facilitate any necessary replacement.
