North Ridgeville Bathroom Remodel
When this customer contacted LGSC Construction, they had attempted to remodel their bathroom themselves. The first thing they had done was to remove the vanity, which is the bathroom sink. Their DIY job had gone well at that point and they did nothing to mess-up the plumbing (which can be a big issue with many do-it-yourself bathroom remodel jobs).
Their next step had been to remove the dated wallpaper in the bathroom - which is where they ran into issues. This homeowner didn't realize the wallpaper had been installed in a way that would have typically made it easier to remove the wallpaper. The previous owner had actually taken the extra step to prime the walls before adhering the wallpaper which usually means the wallpaper will come off much easier. Unfortunately the homeowner used so much steam in removing the wallpaper that she steamed the drywall paper, or the backing of the drywall, right off! This left the drywall exposed- with no paper to paint.
LGSC Construction came on to the site, installed new drywall, removed a built-in medicine cabinet, removed a 6 foot by 6 foot mirrored wall (stuck onto the drywall with commercial adhesive that requires breaking the mirror down and removing piece by piece), and proceeded with the bathroom renovation. We installed new lighting fixtures, new drywall, and more as well as finishing work and painting.
Although our pictures don't do this North Ridgeville bathroom remodel project any justice, the customer was extremely happy with the finished project! We look forward to working with her again as she remodels other areas of her house one project at a time.
